Flooring Installation in Emmet & Charlevoix County
New floors can transform a room. I install flooring that's flat, tight, and finished cleanly at the edges, starting with a properly prepared subfloor.
How I approach it
Most flooring problems, like squeaks, gaps, and cracked tile, start with the subfloor. I check for flatness and movement first and fix what needs fixing before anything goes down, so your new floor looks good and lasts.
I also handle the details that make a floor look finished: transitions between rooms, undercutting door jambs, and reinstalling or replacing baseboard and shoe molding.

Common questions
Can you install flooring I've already bought?
Yes. Just let me know what you have, and I'll check that it's right for the room and that you have enough material, including extra for cuts and waste.
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes. Removal and disposal can be part of the job. I'll include it in your estimate.
What's the best flooring for a cottage or basement?
Areas with moisture or temperature swings often do best with luxury vinyl plank or tile, which handle moisture better than solid hardwood. I'll recommend what fits your space.
